Synopsis
Carmen can have any man she wants. When Don José seems disinterested, she is drawn to the challenge. Carmen strings him along while Don José abandons his duty and his pride in pursuit of her love. The toreador, Escamillo, gets between the two, and Don José slips into a deep, murderous despair.
