NOTE: The renting company is required to provide round trip airfare and hotel accommodations for the technical supervisor. This show requires technical supervisor assistance as follows: 2 days for load in (12-16 hours) and 1 day for load out (8 hours).
Scenery Notes:
The use of Chain Motors could assist in lifting the rooftops to the top of the walls, but LOKC did use system pipes for the same purpose. 1,500 lbs of Stage Weights were used inside of each of the walls for counter-balance. Stage Weights do not travel with the production.
Transportation:
This set requires 4 (four), 53 foot air ride truck, equipped with E-track or logistic posts; load bars or straps; and packing blankets. The renting company assumes all responsibility for transportation. Transportation may be arranged through the Lyric Opera of Kansas City. The costumes are packed in cardboard boxes and can be shipped via UPS.
Insurance:
The renting company must supply the Lyric Opera of Kansas City with a certificate of insurance for $300,000 (three hundred thousand dollars).
